Anna Hájková, a historian at the Warwick University published the first in-depth study of a prisoner society during the Holocaust and the first modern study of the Theresienstadt ghetto. She utilized extensive sources collected in 99 archives from ten countries on three continents, written in nine languages, including victim testimonies.
